RETIRE RICH TIGHTS

SECURING RETIREMENT

How AEQEA, A One Women Lead Start-Up Encourages Women to Invest.

Not only is the wage gap between women and men, known as the "Gender Pay Gap," still significant in India but there are also glaring differences when it comes to retirement: Indian statistics show that, on average, women receive 30% less pension than men. Additionally, women tend to be less engaged with their finances and invest less in capital markets.

To address this issue, India-based entrepreneur Aditi Gupta has launched a campaign with their label, AEQEA, under the motto "Retire Rich." They aim to encourage women to take a more active role in their private retirement planning and achieve financial independence.

The campaign was developed in collaboration with the Indian-based online broker, Three Elements notes that while there is a new generation of confident female investors using Three Elements, there is still a need for action. Data analyses indicate that women are generally more cautious and less engaged in financial markets, leading to lower returns over time.

The limited-edition tights featuring the "Retire Rich" slogan are designed to spark conversations and raise awareness about the importance of financial planning among women. By combining fashion with financial education, AEQEA and THREE ELEMENTS aim to break down barriers and make the topic of retirement planning more approachable.

Through this initiative, the entrepreneurs hope to empower women to take control of their financial futures and close the pension gap that persists between genders.
